| Bio: | ![]() You want to know about me, huh? First and foremost, WWJD to me is not just a statement, it's a way of life. Nobody else has ever shown such perfection and it's that perfection I'm after. Logic proves no other better resolve than to follow Him. With that said, I'm a real person who's done real things and lives a real life. Currently, I'm engaged to a wonderful woman. It's a full house. She has two children and I have a son of my own. Our homeostasis and overall environment is real.. that's one word to describe it :) I program. When I'm not programming, I'm usually programming, just not at the keyboard. I love what I do. Full time programmer at day and working on my own online game at night. On weekends you will either find me at church or in Star Wars Galaxies getting some R&R. If I haven't given it away yet, I'm a major geek.. I'm talking major, man. If we passed by, you may never know it. But start a line from Star Wars or Lord of the Rings and I'll finish it for you. Start talking about code, physics, metaphysics, philosophy, space, historical wars, etc. and I'm in. I like RPG and strategy games, miniatures... anything that involves strategy or is a puzzle. I have a major addiction to enigmas and unsolved puzzles. That's why I avoid them. I'm a thinker, just not a fast one. On the flipside, I could care less who's going to be the next American Idol or top model. I have nothing to discuss regarding modern TV shows. I'm lost on that one. I'm stuck on the 80's. We haven't seen years that good since that decade. But I have hopes for the future. I love fantasy and Sci Fi. As a creator of "worlds" (RPGs and games) and things, I have come to have the up-most respect for my Creator. Tolkein was right in this philosophy that man has an inherent desire to copy his Creator, thus we create in our own way. And I believe God smiles at that :) On rare occasion, I'll go for a Guinness at the local Irish pub, enjoy a conversation with a fellow pipe smoker, meet up with some "old school" friends at the local Denny's on 1:AM Saturday morning (yo Tone!) or just veg out and watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force, the History channel or TV Land (love Little House on the Prarie!) Though I am engaged, have a small handful of associates or peers, maybe a friend or two, I'm good alone in seclusion. Send me up to the space station for 3 months or so and I'd be just fine alone. It doesn't bother me just as long as I have something to do. That's the most important part. I had a business before I was a programmer. It failed.. miserably. There are many that hate me because of that (long story.. read my journal). It's all good. It trained me for the next batter up. I miss my father terribly. He died at the age of 53 from a heart attack. We were close. He was my best friend. Meet ya on the flip side, Dad. RIP. O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder, Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made; I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art! When through the woods, and forest glades I wander, And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees. When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art! And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing; Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in; That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art! When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation, And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart. Then I shall bow, in humble adoration, And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!" Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art! | ||||
